Marie-Élyse Forget embodies a unique training approach, where each participant not only gains enriched knowledge but also leaves infused with motivation and a sense of empowerment to accomplish the impossible. Passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion, she integrates these fundamental principles into every service offered.
As an instructor at three major universities in Montreal, Marie-Elyse was honoured with the Excellence in Teaching Award from HEC Montréal in 2022. She was also recognized by students at McGill University in 2023 for her Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) practices in pedagogy. Additionally, she is the author of the book "The Persona-Archetype in Marketing," sharing her expertise through writings that guide and inspire.

Our Story
On March 13, 2020, as Quebec entered lockdown due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Octaza Marketing was born out of a bold combination of decision and misfortune. This day marked the beginning of a journey for the founder, who faced an empty schedule, lack of income, and responsibilities towards her two young loved and worst "work from home colleagues", Élisia, aged three, and Léopold, aged one. While her partner dedicated himself to "essential services" all week, she spent every weekend developing training content, refining her consulting methods, and actively participating in networking. Her birthday became a turning point, marked by the signing of her first contract.
Since then, Octaza Marketing has continuously attracted new clients. In 2024, the founder celebrates the launch of her first book, symbolizing a significant milestone in Octaza Marketing's journey.
Where does the name Octaza Marketing come from?
The choice of the name "Octaza" for our company was inspired by the octopus, a fascinating creature whose characteristics are often mysterious. Like the chameleon, the octopus can change color to adapt to its environment. In addition to this remarkable adaptability, it is known for rapid evolution and exceptional intelligence. Its boundless energy is evident in its agile and graceful movements, reflecting its hyperactivity.
